Two people are in the hospital Thursday morning after an apparent drive by shooting in Battle Creek.

The Battle Creek Police Department says that just before 1am Thursday, they were called to the first block of Euclid Ave. to find a car leaving the scene; they stopped the car, and a 20-year-old Battle Creek man was found with a gunshot wound to his leg.

He was taken to the hospital in a stable condition.

Shortly after that, a 30-year-old Battle Creek man was dropped off at Bronson Battle Creek by a private vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound to his torso. That man is in critical condition, and was taken into surgery. Police say that it appears these two were hurt in a drive-by shooting at a parking lot on Cliff St. near Mott St.

No suspects have been identified yet, so if you have any clues police ask that you get in contact with them, or call Silent Observer.
