Seven Arrested After Multi-Agency Meth Bust in Battle Creek
Local authorities worked together to conduct a large scale meth bust in Battle Creek yesterday.
Officers from the Battle Creek Police Department, the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department and Emmett Township Public Safety conducted an operation, targeted at stopping the production of methamphetamine.
Overall, Seven people were arrested on felony manufacturing charges, sharing among them eight outstanding warrants. Police also seized three active meth labs at two residences, along with a substantial amount of finished meth.
The houses that were searched were turned over to the health department to clean up dangerous contaminants.
