Kalamazoo County Sheriff Richard Fuller tells The Richard Piet Show on WBCK he has participated in a preliminary review of the events surrounding the January 9, 2015 highway crash along I-94 in eastern Kalamazoo County. Thus far, Fuller says, the major contributing factors to the crash involve weather and driver behavior.

The crash involved 193 vehicles in white out conditions on a stretch just west of the Calhoun County line, and Fuller also says it is not entirely clear on which side of the highway the crash began.

Fuller also responded to contentions that the stretch involved is an accident-prone highway, more than other stretches of road. Hear the entire interview by clicking the player below.
