Sherriff’s Office Gets Special Flag

Calhoun County Corrections Deputy Brice Kerschen presented the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office with a flag that was flown over Camp Phoenix in Kabul, Afghanistan. Deputy Kerschen has just returned from his tour of duty as a 1^st Lieutenant with the Military Police. This was his way of thanking the Sheriff’s Office for the great support he received while overseas.

Now that Deputy Kerschen is back in the United States, he will be returning to his full time position with the Sheriff’s Office in the Corrections Division.

Brice grew up in Denver, Colorado and moved to Michigan when he was 13. He began his military career in 2009, and started his employment with the Sheriff’s Office in 2012.

Brice and his wife Martina, reside in Calhoun County.
