Shoes Taken During Armed Robbery

Police say a Battle Creek man was robbed at gunpoint last night during a shoe deal.

Officers say the victim was lured to a driveway in the area of Harvard Street and Anderson Court at around 11:30 last night under the belief that he was meeting to sell some collectible Nike sneakers.

When the man was making the exchange, two people approached and pulled a gun demanding the shoes and cash.

All three suspects ran from the scene and a K-9 unit was unable to track them in the rain.
