Shooting Victim Identified

The victim of a Sunday shooting has been identified in a press release by the Battle Creek Police Department.
Twenty-four year-old Kayla Marie Babick was shot and killed in a residence in the first block of Highway Street, off from Cliff Street, Sunday afternoon in Battle Creek.
This case remains under investigation by the Detective Bureau. No additional updates are available at this time.
