Showers Thursday, Sunday

Just before 5am Thursday, showers were approaching Battle Creek from the west. The National Weather Service forecast calls for rain Thursday and, now, Sunday for much of the area.

On Wednesday, the forecast suggested potential for showers later on Sunday. Now, the latest update predicts showers Sunday for much of the day. Sunnier weather - with highs in the 70's - is predicted for Friday and Saturday.
