Single Vehicle Crash On I-94 Leaves One Dead

One man is dead following a single vehicle crash that shut down I-94 for several hours.

Around 6:30pm Sunday, A pickup truck carrying four people was travelling on I-94 near Beadle Lake in Emmett Township, when it failed to stop in time.  The driver swerved into the median to avoid a collision with another vehicle and ended up flipping.

All four in the vehicle were injured, with a passenger, a 42-year-old Lapeer man, later dying at the scene due to his injuries.
