The Pistons lost 102-89 in Milwaukee.   Former Piston Greg Monroe had 25 points and 13 rebounds.   Michael Beasley added 23 points. The Bucks led by 22 at one point and held a double-digit advantage for most of the second half. Detroit outscored the Bucks in the third and fourth quarters, but it was too little, too late.   The Bucks won their first home game since star forward Jabari Parker got hurt.  Parker tore his left ACL last week for the second time in three seasons.  Marcus Morris led Detroit with 26 points, while Andre Drummond added 21 points and 12 rebounds. It was not a good night for Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, who was 2 for 10 and had four turnovers.  The Pistons committed 17 turnovers in all, resulting in 19 points for Milwaukee. Eight of them came in the game-deciding second quarter.  The Pistons host the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday night.

Pistons Stole One on Sunday

The NBA says its referees missed a potential game-changing foul call in the Detroit Pistons' win over the Toronto Raptors Sunday.  In its daily Last 2 Minute Report,  the NBA says Marcus Morris should have been called for a shooting foul on with 3.6 seconds left.  The report notes that , "Morris grabs DeRozan's jersey and makes contact to the body that affects his jump shot attempt."

The Red Wings have lost four straight and have the worst record in the Eastern Conference.  The Wings are home to play the St. Louis Blues on Wednesday.

The top-ranked Connecticut women's basketball team posted an unprecedented 100th consecutive victory by topping sixth-ranked South Carolina 66-55 behind Gabby Williams' 26 points. The last time the UConn women lost was in November of 2014.

Michigan State AD cancels trip, focuses on job on campus

NCAA Tournament selection committee chair Mark Hollis has cancelled a planned trip to focus on his job as Michigan State's athletic director.  Michigan State announced Thursday a police investigation is looking into a sexual assault complaint against three football players, all of whom have been suspended from team activities and evicted from campus housing. The athletic department also suspended a staff member tied to the football program pending the investigation.  MSU has suspended gymnastics coach Kathy Klages, after she was accused in court records of discouraging a then-teenage girl from filing a sexual assault complaint against Dr. Larry Nassar.
