Tigers
Ian Kinsler knocked in four runs to lead the Tigers to a 9-2 win over the Marlins in Lakeland. The Tigers will play the season opener in Miami this April.  J.D. Martinez and Steven Moya homered for Detroit. Free-agent addition Justin Upton picked up his first hit. Matt Boyd pitched three shutout innings, and top pitching prospect Michael Fulmer pitched two scoreless innings. The Tigers are 4-3 this Spring and take on the Mets today in Port St. Lucie.

NBA/Pistons
The Pistons snapped their two game skid with a 123-103 win over the Trailblazers Sunday night. Reggie Jackson led six players in double figures with 30 points. Andre Drummond added 14 points and 18 rebounds for Detroit, which is now 32-and-31, and tied with Chicago for the eighth and final playoff spot in the East. The Pistons begin a four-game road trip Wednesday at Dallas.

Red Wings
The Red Wings lost to the Blackhawks 4-1 Sunday afternoon. Red Wings goaltender Petr Mrazek says Patrick Kane's goal on the first shot gave Chicago all the momentum. The Hawks kept scoring from there, getting two power play goals. Gustav Nyquist had the lone goal as the Red Wings. Detroit was swept in the home-and-home set. The Wings battle the Blue Jackets tomorrow in Columbus.

Big Ten Basketball
Second-ranked Michigan State will play either OSU or Penn State this Friday in the Big Ten tournament. The Spartans finished the regular season at 26-5. Hear the Tom Izzo Show tonight after High School Basketball on WBCK. Michigan will play Northwestern on Thursday in the Big Ten tournament in Indianapolis.

Nascar
Brad Keselowski made a late charge to win the Kobalt 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Keselowski passed Kyle Busch with five laps left en route to his second win in Vegas in three years. Joey Logano finished second. Jimmie Johnson, Busch and Austin Dillon rounded out the top-five. The series heads to Phoenix for Sunday's Good Sam 500.

Manning to Retire
Lions head coach Jim Caldwell is calling quarterback Peyton Manning one of the greatest to ever play. He praised his work ethic and character after the Broncos confirmed Sunday that Manning is retiring. The two spent 10 years together in Indianapolis.

Golf
Adam Scott came behind with 4 straight birdies to win the Cadillac Championship over Bubba Watson. Scott finished the tournament 12-under-par for his second win in as many weeks.
