Sports: Michigan at OSU Tonight
Michigan is on the road at Ohio State tonight. The Wolverines will probably be without star guard Caris Levert again, but Levert is close to getting back to regular status. He could come off the bench in tonight’s game.
Also tonight, the WMU Broncos take a 10-15 season record to Kent State. On Saturday, the Broncos will host CMU in Kalamazoo.
The MSU Spartans return to action Thursday when they host Wisconsin. Michigan State senior guard Denzel Valentine has been named Big Ten Player of the Week for the second week in a row.
Red Wings
The Red Wings opened a four-game road trip with a 4-1 loss to the Islanders in Brooklyn Monday afternoon. Pavel Datsyuk scored Detroit's lone goal in the third period. The Wings went 0-4 on the power play. Goalie Jimmy Howard is still looking for his first win since early December. The Red Wings play in Pittsburgh on Thursday.
High School Girls Basketball
St. Philip beat Mendon 40-30. Megan Gordon scored 15 and had 9 rebounds.
Climax-Scotts 67, North Adams-Jerome 26. Taylor Macomber had 11 for the 7th ranked Panthers.
Pittsford beat Bellevue 70-29.

Harper Creek heads to Coldwater on Thursday to take on Battle Creek Central.
College Football
Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh is getting a head start on his 2017 recruiting class. Highly regarded quarterback prospect Dylan McCaffrey has verbally committed to the Wolverines. McCaffrey is the son of former NFL wide receiver Ed McCaffrey, and the brother of Stanford running back Christan McCaffrey and Duke wideout Max McCaffrey.
Tigers
There are only 2 Days until pitchers and catchers report to Lakeland. First full squad workout is Tuesday, and the first Spring game is with Florida Southern on Leap Day. The regular season starts on Tuesday April 5th in Miami, and the Tigers home opener is Friday April 8th against the Yankees.
