The Detroit Lions have hired Joe Marciano as special teams coordinator. He takes over for John Bonamego, who left Detroit to become the new head football coach at Central Michigan University.  Marciano began coaching in the NFL in 1986, and has been special teams coordinator in Tampa Bay and Houston.  He previously worked with Lions head coach Jim Caldwell during his tenure with the Buccaneers, when Caldwell was the team's quarterback coach in 2001.

Cabrera Examined
