The Pistons scored the final six points after falling behind by one with 23 seconds left.  Backup guard Jodie Meeks left last night's game in the second quarter with a foot injury. The Michigan Wolverines go up against the 4-3 Golden Gophers in Minnesota this Saturday night. Yesterday, Minnesota coach Jerry Kill abruptly retired over health concerns. Kill tearfully addressed the matter at a press conference after telling his staff and players of the decision, saying his epilepsy had become too draining for him to continue as coach. Kill said he had two seizures this week and that the toll on his body, his mind and his family had become too much.

MSU has a bye this week and will next take the field November 7th against the Cornhuskers in Nebraska.
