The Pistons overcame a 16-point fourth-quarter deficit to beat the Toronto Raptors 102-101 on Sunday night.  Tobias Harris had 24 points off the bench; Kentavious Caldwell-Pope added 21, including a go-ahead 3-pointer with 13.2 seconds left.  Andre Drummond had 10 points and 18 rebounds for his 36th double-double of the season as the Pistons snapped a four-game skid in Toronto.  Caldwell-Pope made it a two-point game with a pull-up jumper with 47.9 seconds remaining, and then put the Pistons in front 102-101 with his 3-pointer.  The Pistons are in Milwaukee tonight.

Red Wings

The Western Conference-leading Minnesota Wild beat the Detroit Red Wings 6-3 on Sunday.  Minnesota leads Chicago by five points and has played two fewer games than the Blackhawks.  Anthony Mantha had a goal and an assist for Detroit. Henrik Zetterberg and Andreas Athanasiou also scored.  Jared Coreau made 23 saves.  The Red Wings have lost four straight and have the worst record in the Eastern Conference.  The Wings are home to play the St. Louis Blues on Wednesday.

Bob Kaser, voice of the Grand Rapids Griffins was pressed into service for the ailing Ken Kal.  According to WOOD-TV, Kal has some sort of voice problem.  He missed Saturday’s game, and Matt Shephard had to do the call in Columbus.

Men’s College Basketball

Michigan beat Indiana 75-63.  Derrick Walton Junior had 25 for Michigan.  D.J. Wilson had 13, Moritz Wagner 11 and 10 rebounds. It was their first road win of the season and a rare victory in Bloomington.  Michigan came into the game 0-6 on the road this season, 1-17 in Bloomington since 1996-97 and without a season sweep of the Hoosiers since 1994-95.

Three of the nation's top-12 teams lost on Sunday.  Seventh-ranked Wisconsin had won eight straight before Northwestern beat the Badgers, 66-59 in Madison.  The Badgers drop to 10-2 in the Big Ten.

#11 Cincinnati's 15-game winning streak is over as 25th-ranked SMU beat the Bearcats 60-51.

Virginia Tech pulled off the third upset by beating No. 12 Virginia, 80-78.

Women’s Basketball

Katelynn Flaherty hit six 3-pointers and scored 35 points to help No. 21 Michigan beat Wisconsin 75-66 on Sunday.

With her 12th point in the first half, Flaherty moved past 500 points for the season — the 11th player to do so in program history.

Hallie Thome had 13 points, six rebounds and four assists for Michigan (21-5, 10-2 Big Ten.

Wrestling
Pennfield heads to Regionals this Wednesday at Dundee High School against Michigan Center.

Harper Creek (17-10) advances to the February 15th regional at Stevensville Lakeshore High School, where it will face Coldwater.

Climax-Scotts/Martin will wrestle Bangor at Springport, and Springport goes against Athens.
