The Tigers wasted a comeback effort as they lost 8-7 to Rays in Tampa.   It was a game that featured a lot of odd plays and mis-plays.  A routine fly ball fell between JaCoby Jones, Tyler Collins and Ian Kinsler.   Kinsler let another one land when he thought another player was calling him off.  The Tigers came from behind to take a 7-6 lead into the 9th.   Closer Francisco Rodriguez loaded the bases on two walks and a hit.  In what should have been a game ending double play, Jose Iglesias stumbled over the bag and threw wildly to first and Tampa Bay scored twice for the walk-off win.  The Tigers failed to homer for the first time over their first 14 games this season.   Daniel Norris pitches today for the Tigers.   Broadcast time at 12:45 on 95.3 WBCK.
