The Red Wings lost to the New Jersey Devils 4-3.  Detroit falls a game under .500 on the season and has lost five in a row.  The Devils jumped off to a 2-0 lead in the first few minutes.  Detroit's Henrik Zetterberg scored with 1:47 remaining in the second, to make it 2-1.  But a couple minutes later the Devils scored again on a short-handed goal and went up 4-1 on another goal minus a skater in the 3rd.  Detroit pulled within a score on goals from Tomas Tatar and Nick Jensen.  It was Jensen’s first NHL goal.  Detroit had an extra skater with 2:16 left and pulled Jared Coreau about a minute later, but it couldn't take advantage of the opportunity to extend the game to overtime.  Detroit hosts the New York Islanders on Friday.
