It’s wildfire season in Michigan. According to experts, the next three months are the most dangerous stretch of the year, for Michigan wildfires. State fire prevention specialist Bryce Avery says spring brings longer days, rising temperatures and lower humidity that dries out leaves and dead grass from last year. Winds also fan the flames if they spark.
