Springfield Middle School Enters Lockdown Over Threat

Springfield Middle School in Springfield entered a lockdown early Friday morning, after finding a threat against the school on social media.

The Calhoun County Sheriff's Office investigated the threat, and discovered that the threat was actually a threat against Springfield Middle School in Holland, Ohio.  The Calhoun County Sheriff's Office contacted the Holland, Ohio Police and confirmed that the threat was not towards any school in Michigan.

Sheriff's responded to the Middle School and found the students in lockdown.  Further investigation showed that the school was not in danger.
