Springfield Teen Accused of Robbing Party Store Arrested
Calhoun County Sheriff’s Deputies have arrested a teen suspected of breaking into a local party store.
The robbery took place at the Springfield Party Store in the 500 block of Avenue A before 7am Tuesday. The suspect broke through the glass front door and stole several items, fleeing before police arrived.
Authorities identified the suspect through surveillance video, with Calhoun County Sheriff’s Deputies arresting the 15-year-old Springfield suspect at his home on Harmonia Road around 3:30pm yesterday. Several stolen items were found in his possession.
The teen was taken to the Calhoun County Juvenile Home on Breaking and Entering charges.
