St. Philip Fighting Tigers Advance

The Saint Philip Fighting Tigers moved another step closer to the state finals at the Breslin Center as they pounded the Wyoming Potter’s House Pumas 68-37 in their Region 25 Class “D” Semi-Final game at Portage Northern High School Monday night.  Saint Philip had four players scoring in double-digits: Isaac Cloward with 12-points and seven rebounds; Tyler Hubbard-Neil, 11-points; Alex Doyle with 10-points and five rebounds; Brent DeBree with 10-points and nine rebounds.  The Fighting Tigers will return to “The Igloo” Wednesday night to square off with Covert for the Region 25 Class “D” crown. Tip-off is set for 6:30 p.m. Broadcast time on WBCK-FM is 6:06pm.
