Michigan State Police are calling Stalkers out by helping citizens identify them. In a release from MSP, stalking has been defined as a willful course of conduct involving repeated or continuing harassment that would cause a reasonable person to feel terrorized, frightened, intimidated, threatened, harassed or molested. According to Trooper Cecil Vashaw, victims of stalking are often afraid to come forward. During a one year period, 6.6 million people age 18 or older in the US were stalked and nearly three in four knew their offender. The National Center for Victims of Crime has a comprehensive list of resources for stalking victims on their website, www.victimsofcrime.org.
