A 66-foot spruce from the western Upper Peninsula has been delivered to the Capitol to serve as this year's state Christmas tree. The tree was dropped off and set in place Saturday morning in Lansing. MLive.com reports dozens of people watched or helped. The Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget picked the tree and announced the choice earlier this month. It was cut down Wednesday.
