Michigan prosecutors are doing what they can to keep 200 juvenile lifers behind bars. According to The Associated Press, the effort is being made in spite of a Supreme Court ruling that harsh punishment should be limited to the rarest of cases. One lifer, Kevin Body, was 16 when prosecutors say he plotted with his mother to kill his father. Body says he’s changed. He’s 40 now and is hoping for a second chance.
