State Representative Dave Maturen stopped by 95.3 WBCK for another legislative update.  He talks about ballot proposals that Michigan voters will decide on, and three that didn't get on the ballot as a result of action by lawmakers in Lansing.  But will those measure actually go into effect, and if so, what changes could be made between now and the end of the "Lame Duck Session".

Maturen say the prevailing wage measure immediately goes into effect, meaning that school districts and municipalities won't have to go into the whole prevailing wage scenario for projects.  He says public sector bids will work the same way they do now in the private sector.

Measures to increase the minimum wage and sick leave could still be modified or changed.
