It’s not Black Friday, but shoppers still showed up in droves for new shoes. Yelling and shoving by crowds awaiting the release of Nike Air Jordan shoes forced the temporary closure of a Detroit-area mall. The Detroit Free Press and WDIV-TV report that the 8 a.m. Saturday rush was at the Kids Footlocker store at Eastland Center in Harper Woods.
