The Albion Department of Public Safety and Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office are working together to solve a recent spree of lawn equipment theft.

WWMT says Wednesday that investigators recently went to a home near Albion, and found a few stolen lawn mowers, a discovery that has led to around 25 stolen items worth several thousand dollars. Authorities have not made any arrests yet, but they say they are getting close to wrapping the investigation up and sending it to the County Prosecutor’s Office.

Right now, authorities are trying to determine who the owners of this stolen equipment are, so if you’ve had a mower stolen on Calhoun County’s east side recently you should contact the Albion DPS.
