The public is invited to Wednesday's (May 11, 2016) Student Business Showcase at Kellogg Arena from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The event, hosted and coordinated by Battle Creek's Generation E Institute, features businesses inspired, started and run by students between the ages of 8 and 26. The young entrepreneurs have been exposed to the institute's program which fosters entrepreneurial traits - and those that help make them employable.

Wednesday's event is an expo-style setup, where the public can peruse the businesses and their products or services, which will be available for purchase. Admission is free. The day's events will also produce a number of cash and prize winners among the entrepreneurs.
