Suspect Arrested in Attempted Robbery

Police say they caught a suspect in an attempted strong armed robbery in Battle Creek yesterday.  An employee of the Urbandale Burger King was walking home at around 12:45 in the morning when a man approached him and demanded his money while implying that he was armed.  The victim told the robber that he had a knife and wasn’t going to give him anything.  The robber fled but police arrested a suspect shortly after whom the victim identified.  The 54-year-old man was taken to the County Jail pending charges.
