Suspect Caught After Tips From Public

Sheriff’s Deputies say a suspect wanted in a number of recent burglaries has been caught.

Detectives following up on tips from the public caught Keith Edward Worthington in Battle Creek yesterday.

Worthington went on the run after abandoning his car during a chase with Deputies Sunday night on 11 Mile Road.

Tips led Deputies and State Police Troopers to Highland Boulevard near 23^rd Street yesterday at around 3:30 in the afternoon.

Investigators say Worthington surrendered without a fight and was taken to the County Jail.
