Suspect Caught in Bedford Burglary

A man is behind bars following a break-in in Bedford this morning.  Battle Creek Police responded to the scene on Snow Avenue at around 4am.

The burglar had already run away when officers arrived but the Department reports they were able to track him down nearby with a K-9 unit.

Investigators say the resident of the home was able to identify the burglar and stolen property was recovered.

Police say the home had been broken into several times in recent months.
