Suspect Identified In Break-in And Attempted Murder

Police have now identified a man accused of home invasion and attempted murder, and recovered his getaway vehicle.  But, the suspect is still at large.

27-year-old Bruce Mireles is suspected of breaking into a home on Dahlia Drive Sunday night, and stabbing the occupant.  The white Dodge Charger Mireles is believed to have used to leave the scene was recovered around 7:30pm Monday, with cocaine, marijuana, and hundreds of dollars in cash found inside.

The driver and owner of the car was arrested on several felony drug charges, but Mireles was nowhere to be found.

Mireles is a black male around 5 foot 8, 150 pounds.  If you have any info on his location, please contact the Battle Creek Police or Silent Observer.
