Suspects Arrested in Battle Creek Murder

The search for suspects in a fatal shooting case ended with one being caught and the other surrendering in Battle Creek yesterday.  Police raided a home in the Creek Valley Mobile Home Park at around 2 in the afternoon Tuesday, following up on tips in the murder of Allyn Reeve.  Reeve was shot and killed during a robbery at his house on Territorial at around 4:30 in the morning.  Police say they caught one of the suspects jumping out of a window when they arrived at the mobile home park.  A second suspect surrendered later in the evening.  Both men were taken to the Calhoun County Jail.
