Battle Creek Police have arrested two men and charged them with blasting another vehicle with a shotgun.  It happened shortly after 5pm Monday on Capital Avenue Northeast near McKinley Street. Police say a tan Chevy Suburban was following another vehicle and the driver shot out the window of the other vehicle as it turned into a parking lot.

Tuesday afternoon at about 1pm, officers spotted the suspect vehicle in the same area that the shooting occurred and pulled it over.  They arrested two men inside, aged 30 and 24 years old. They also found a shotgun in the Suburban and believe it was the one used in the incident.  Police don't think the suspects are related, and they don't think they knew the victim.  So far. police think it was either an act of horseplay, or road rage.  Their investigation continues. .
