Sweetheart Swindler to be Sentenced

A sentencing date has been set for a West Michigan man, called the Sweetheart Swindler. Jeffrey Lucas of Egelston Township was accused of meeting women through online dating sites, romancing them and talking them out of thousands of dollars. Thirty four year old Lucas pled guilty last month to larceny by false pretenses and being a habitual offender. All 19 of his victims will be given a chance to confront Lucas in court. Sentencing has been set for July 24^th.
