Sweetwater’s Voted # 1

If there was ever any doubt in your mind as to whether Sweetwater’s Donut Mill has the best donuts in the hood, you can relax. Thrillist.com has just selected Sweetwater’s as the best donut shop in Michigan.

The Thrillist was most impressed with the candy bar series, which the Donut Mill offers. They proclaim, “The Reese's Donut, Snickers, and Mounds of Coconut are all based on deconstructed and remade versions of your favorite treats and are rebuilt into a new pastry.”

My personal favorite is the gigantic cinnamon bun. It resembles a glazed Frisbee and comes within your grasp for just over a buck-fifty.

Sweetwater’s has long been a local favorite and has three locations in the Kalamazoo-Battle Creek area. The west-side of Kalamazoo can wander in to the 3333 Stadium Drive location, the east-side has the 2138 Sprinkle Road location and Battle Creek is not left-out, they can feast at the Sweetwater’s located at the intersection of Capital Avenue and Beckley Road.

On top of all this good news remains one last fact. Sweetwater’s Donut Mill is open 24-hours a day.

These donuts are so good they would probably be outlawed in New York City!
