Around 7pm Wednesday, they received word from an 88-year-old victim who had been staying at a motel in the 20,000 block of M66 in Pennfield; the man said that a woman broke into his room and assaulted him, before tying him up and taking his cash and debit card.
At the meeting, environmental and health officials said that further testing was being conducted on residential water wells near the base, after two homes north of the base were found to have PFAS levels above the EPA health advisory level.

The City of Battle Creek says that starting at 7:30am Thursday, the traffic signals in the intersection of Capital Ave. SW and Jackson St. will be turned off and the intersection will be turned into a four-way stop.
The Village Inn Apartments has had its entire complex condemned, after inspection by the Battle Creek Fire Marshal and the City’s Building Inspector. Whether or not the buildings will be demolished remains to be seen.
