The Michigan State Police Fugitive Team had gone to the Tree Top Ridge Apartments at the intersection of Riverside Dr. and Burnham St. around 8:30am Monday, to arrest 36-year-old Joshuah Prough

The Battle Creek Police Department says that they were called to the 200 block of Riverside Dr. around 3pm Sunday on reports of someone firing a gun inside of a residence. Their suspect had fled the scene in a vehicle before police arrived, and the vehicle was spotted shortly after.

Benton Harbor authorities investigated a missing person report Sunday, and found her body in her car at an apartment complex a few hours later. Foul play was suspected, and a suspect was identified.

The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety says a woman was exiting her vehicle in the 1300 block of S Westnedge around 6:20pm, when a man came behind her and said he had a gun.

Around 8:30pm Tuesday, a Battle Creek Police Officer witnessed a vehicle fail to stop for an ambulance with its lights on, so he pulled the vehicle over. Michigan law states you have to pull over for oncoming emergency vehicles.

34-year-old Jeffrey Wimberly was in Calhoun County Court Tuesday; he’s charged with four counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct. Prosecutors say that in 2002, Wimberly raped a woman, with his cousin holding the victim's hands so she couldn’t fight back.

Officers were called to the 100 block of Lathrop Ave. around 1:30pm Saturday, and found a home and car hit with bullets. A SUV had been seen leaving the area, and was stopped shortly afterwards.

A Battle Creek man was killed early Saturday morning in a shooting that saw the suspect escape the scene. The Battle Creek Police Department says that around 1:11am Saturday, November 25, officers and first responders were called to the 300 block of Oneita St, to find the 41-year-old victim lying in the street with several gunshot wounds.
