The KDPS says that around 1am Thursday, a Kalamazoo resident was approached by two men in the area of South Pitcher St. and Walnut St. The men allegedly hit him with an object, and stole his wallet at gun point before fleeing on foot.

While the OD victim was being treated with Narcan, the victim's 67-year-old father came out of the home brandishing a handgun. EMTs took cover, and deputies were eventually able to take the man into custody.

The incident began Saturday afternoon, where they were notified that Jackson County authorities were chasing a stolen vehicle on westbound I-94 around 2:30pm. Officers lost sight of the vehicle in the area of I-94 near the 121st mile marker in Marengo Township, but shortly afterwards a Calhoun County Marine Patrol Deputy spotted two individuals walking along Partello Rd. near 21 Mile.

A series of busts in Kalamazoo over the weekend resulted in several stolen firearms being recovered. The KDPS asks those with information about these and other incidents to get into contact with them.

This search warrant was related to the arrests of Keith Worthington and Tiffany Denton, which took place at the end of May. Now, the next step is for law enforcement to find the owners of these stolen items.

The Michigan State Police Marshall Post says that the incident happened around 12:30am, at a residence in the 6000 block of J Dr. S in southwestern Newton Township. The resident heard a "loud noise near his front door", prompting him to grab his shotgun and go outside to search the area.

Agencies from Calhoun, Barry, and Eaton Counties have been looking into home invasions for some time, and two suspects, Keith Worthington and Tiffany Denton, have already been arrested. Based on information gained during the investigation, it was believed that further stolen property could be located on property on 11 Mile Rd. in Pennfield Township.

Sometime before 6am Sunday, a 43-year-old Battle Creek man and his 39-year-old wife had been riding their motorcycle on Chapel Hill Dr. when they missed their turn twice. The couple had to turn around repeatedly to try and make their turn onto Timberlane Dr, and they were eventually confronted by the driver of a car.
