Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety officers responded to the residence in the 900 block of North Burdick St. around 4am Saturday, and arrived to find the 26-year-old with gunshot wounds; he was rushed to the hospital, but was pronounced dead.

The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety says that they were called around 5pm Tuesday to the 3300 block of Gull Rd on reports of a robbery; investigation shows that two men entered the bank, handed the teller a note demanding money, and then left with an unknown amount of cash. No one was hurt, and it’s not known if any weapons were involved.

The car was found unoccupied when police arrived, and investigation determined the vehicle had been stolen from an apartment complex a few miles away.

Once inside, police found a large amount of crack cocaine and marijuana, along with a loaded handgun and almost $5,000 in cash.
