Calhoun County Man Hurt After Home Invader Shoots Him
The Michigan State Police Marshall Post says that the incident happened around 12:30am, at a residence in the 6000 block of J Dr. S in southwestern Newton Township. The resident heard a "loud noise near his front door", prompting him to grab his shotgun and go outside to search the area.
Multiple Guns Stolen In Calhoun County Break-In Thursday
The Michigan State Police say in a press release that the breaking and entering happened at a home on P Drive South in Burlington Township around 4:20pm Thursday. The suspect or suspects took a large Sentinel gun safe containing multiple firearms, ammunition, and other personal items.
