34-year-old Jeffrey Wimberly was in Calhoun County Court Tuesday; he’s charged with four counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct. Prosecutors say that in 2002, Wimberly raped a woman, with his cousin holding the victim's hands so she couldn’t fight back.

The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office says that they had learned several minors accused this man of sexually abusing them, and as a result of interviewing the alleged victims a search warrant was obtained. The home the search warrant was sought for is within walking distance of two schools.

We have an update to the story.

  This one confuses me.  If a woman reports to the police or her university that she was raped when it never happened, we should forgive her and not punish her.
