Teen Bicyclist Dies After Crashing Into Bus In Kalamazoo

A young bicyclist was killed Thursday in Kalamazoo after he crashed into a bus.

The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety says in a release that around 12:30pm Thursday, officers responded to the intersection of S. Burdick St. and Millview Ave. to find a 17-year-old male unresponsive in the street.

Investigation shows that the teen failed to stop at a stop sign on his bike, as he travelled down a hill on Millview, leading to him crashing into the side of a Metro Transit Bus.

Authorities attempted to revive the boy, but were unsuccessful.
