Three teenagers were arrested Monday morning in Battle Creek after reports of an assault.

The Battle Creek Police Department says that an officer was flagged down some time before 3:30am Monday by a citizen, who said that several suspects had committed the assault while waving a handgun. Suspect descriptions were spread, and shortly afterwards those involved were located on Battle Creek’s south side.

The BCPD says that two 17-year-old males and an 18-year-old male were arrested, and a weapon was recovered. The three are all facing multiple felony charges, including weapons violations.
