Keith Richards surprised just about everyone with his announcement that he's writing a children's book.

We talked about this on today's Morning Show.  I guess we really shouldn't be all that surprised, as he is after all an artist.  So why not a children's book?  But as it turns out, there's a lot more we didn't know about Keith. Here are The Top Surprising Things You Didn't Know About Keith Richards.

He's no longer on speaking terms with his liver.

He's a stark reminder to every healthy man that drops dead of a heart attack during their daily job that life is not fair.

He's starting to make Death wonder if he's lost his touch.

He's never gotten cancer because there's no healthy tissue in his body for tumors to grow.

He played Johnny Depp's dad in "Pirates of the Caribbean".  And Carla the Waitress in "Cheers".

If you touch his nose, his nasal cavity collapses like wet tissue.

He's so laid back he's been smoking the same cigarette since 1982.

He failed in an attempt to launch his own video game franchise, "Guitar Heroin".

"The New York Times" has had his obituary written since 1966.

He wrote "Jumpin' Jack Flash" with the hopes the song would one day become the title of the single least funny "comedy" film ever made.

One time in Seattle, he visited the Space Needle because he thought it was full of heroin.
