Sheriff’s Office investigators are looking for tips from the public in connection with a weekend break-in and burglary at a business in Homer.

The break-in was discovered Saturday morning at Rennco on Elm Street in Homer.

Detective Steven Hinkley says in a release that the thieves cut a hole in the wall to get in and then damaged machinery while stealing equipment and tools.  The cost of the damage and theft is estimated at $80-thousand dollars.
