San Francisco 49ers at Carolina Panthers

After eliminating Green Bay in dramatic fashion in extreme conditions, San Francisco must travel to Charlotte to face the NFC South champion Panthers. Niners' quarterback Colin Kaepernick seeks to redeem himself for his lousy performance in a 10-9 loss to the Panthers on Nov. 10. Carolina's Cam Newton looks for a victory in his first NFL playoff game. The winning team advances to next Sunday's NFC title game.

(20) Iowa at (3) Ohio State

Value City Arena, Columbus, Ohio; 1:30 p.m. (ET) on CBS
Twentieth-ranked Iowa (12-3) faces third-ranked Ohio State (15-1) in the Buckeyes' first game since an overtime loss to Michigan State on Tuesday. Senior guard Roy Devyn Marble is the key to the Hawkeyes' offense. Junior forward LaQuinton Ross averages 13.1 points and 5.8 rebounds per game for OSU.

San Diego Chargers at Denver Broncos

Sports Authority Field at Mile High, Denver; 4:40 p.m. (ET) on CBS
AFC West rivals San Diego and Denver duel for the right to advance to next Sunday's AFC championship game. The teams split their two meetings this year, with Peyton Manning and the Broncos winning in San Diego and Philip Rivers and the Chargers winning in Denver.
