Thousands Turning Their Lights Back On

More than 19,000 homes and businesses were in the dark, throughout the state, after a series of storms on Saturday. According to the Associated Press, the storm system spawned at least one tornado. Consumers Energy reports that the hardest hit area from the storms was the Grand Rapids area. All but a few Consumers’ customers had power restored by Sunday afternoon.
