The Battle Creek Police have arrested three men in connection to the August 9th shooting death of Breon Willams.

The Battle Creek Police Department issued a press release just before 9 a.m. Friday, saying that three males aged 20, 22, and 23 were in custody, with an expected arraignment for Friday afternoon.

Their names have not yet been released.

The 27-year-old Williams was standing on the sidewalk near Hanover Street and Walters Avenue, around 3 a.m., August 9th. A car drove by, shooting at Williams and striking him in the chest.

Williams was taken to Bronson Battle Creek, where he was later pronounced dead.
