A 6-year-old girl is dead after a crash, one of many, caused by the severe conditions yesterday.

The crash happened on M-66 near Glenn Cross Road in Leroy Township, around 2:30pm Wednesday.  A southbound vehicle, driven by Heather Radley, lost control and hit a northbound car head on.  Another northbound car then slammed into the rear of the first.

Radley, and her 6-year-old daughter in the back seat, were transferred to Bronson Kalamazoo in serious condition, but the little girl died due to her injuries.  Radley continues to recover in serious condition.

Authorities are investigating, but it appears that blowing snow and speed were the main factors involved in the crash
