Three people were hurt after a crash took place in eastern Calhoun County Thursday afternoon.

The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office says that deputies were called to a two-car crash at the intersection of 23 Mile Rd. and Division Dr, around 12:40pm. The driver of the first vehicle involved, a 72-year-old Homer man, was taken to the hospital in Marshall with minor injuries. The second car’s occupants, a Marshall Township couple in their early 80’s, also suffered minor injuries and were taken to be treated in Jackson.

Right now, the Sheriff’s Office says that it appears the vehicle traveling on 23 Mile Rd. failed to yield properly to the vehicle on Division, leading to the accident.
